Eldeniz Mazahir oglu Maharramov – Dean of the Faculty of Marketing and Management of Azerbaijan Cooperation University, Doctor of Philosophy in Economics, Associate Professor.

Eldeniz Mazahir oglu Maharramov was born on September 2, 1979 in the village of Zevin, Yardimli district of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 1997-2001, he graduated from Azerbaijan International University’s “Organization of Customs Work” faculty with honors and received a bachelor’s degree. In 2001-2003, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of “Organization of Customs Work” of the Azerbaijan Cooperation University and received a master’s degree in administrative management. He is married and has 2 children.
In 2009, he became a doctoral student at the Azerbaijan Scientific-Research Agricultural Economics and Organizational Institute, and in 2016, he defended his dissertation on the topic “Improving State Regulation of Entrepreneurial Activity in the Agricultural Field” on the topic of 5312.01- “Field Economy”. In 2017, he was awarded the scientific degree “Doctor of Philosophy in Economics” by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2003-2010, he started scientific and pedagogical activity at ABU. Worked as a laboratory assistant, teacher, head teacher.
In 2010-2013, as a leading researcher at AzETKTI and TI, he worked as a senior lecturer in the Department of “Commerce and International Trade” at Azerbaijan Cooperation University in 0.5 years. Since 2018, he is an associate professor of the “Management and trade” department.
In 2010, he worked as a senior lecturer at the “Commerce and International Trade” department of the Azerbaijan Cooperation University.
In 2013, he was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Correspondence Department at Azerbaijan Cooperation University.
In 2015, he was appointed as the deputy dean of the “Management” faculty of Azerbaijan Cooperation University. In 2018, he was elected to the position of dean of the “Marketing and Management” faculty of Azerbaijan Cooperation University. He is the author of 30 scientific articles, 10 educational programs, 1 monograph, 6 abstracts of scientific-practical conferences.
The dean of the faculty, E. Maharramov, was admitted to the doctoral course for the preparation of the doctorate of sciences in the 2021/2022 academic year.
While working at the university, he is demanding towards students, always takes responsibility for his work. The general management of the faculty is carried out by the Scientific Council of the faculty headed by the dean. The Scientific Council of the Faculty examines the training of specialists in the faculty, the scientific-research activity of the faculty and the material and technical support of the departments, discusses the conclusions of the teaching plans and programs, reports on teaching methods and scientific research works, work plans of the departments, teaching and production experience, professors working in the departments -raises the issue before the Scientific Council of the University for the granting of scientific titles to the teaching staff, discusses the status of the students’ scientific research work, listens to the dean’s report, etc. performs tasks. The dean heads the Scientific Council of the Faculty, directs teaching-educational work and the implementation of scientific-research work, supervises the independent work of students, creates conditions for their scientific activity, is responsible for conducting the examination process objectively, transparently and in accordance with existing students. He supervises the work of increasing the qualifications and retraining of the teaching staff working at the faculty, conducting scientific conferences and seminars, and the work of all the teaching-assistant staff at the faculty.
