Elnura Bunyat gizi Mammadova – Dean of the Faculty of “Social Work and Translation” of Azerbaijan Cooperative University, Doctor of Economic Sciences

Elnura Mammadova gizi Bunyat was born in 1985. In 1991, he went to the first grade of secondary school, in 2001 he successfully graduated from secondary school and entered the “International Economic Relations” faculty of Azerbaijan State University of Economics. During his studies at the university, he was an active student and participated in many scientific and practical conferences. E. Mammadova participated in the scientific-practical conference of TEC “Regional Economic Development and Economic Growth” held at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 2004 and was awarded with a first-class diploma. In 2005, he graduated from the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with an honors diploma. In 2005, he was admitted to the master’s level of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, majoring in “Finance and Credit”, and in 2007 he graduated with honors.

In January 2006, he started working at the No. 1 Sabail district branch of Kapital Bank. In 2008, 08.00.10, he was admitted to doctoral studies at the Azerbaijan Cooperation University on the specialty “Finance, money circulation and credit”. Since 2010, he has worked as a senior lecturer at the “Economic Theory” and “Finance and Banking” departments at the Azerbaijan Cooperation University. In 2012, at the “XVI republic scientific conference of doctoral students and young researchers” organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he delivered a thesis entitled “Factors affecting the sustainable development of the agricultural sector”. In 2015, he defended his dissertation at the Specialized Scientific Council established under BSU, Azerbaijan State Agrarian University and Azerbaijan Cooperation University, and by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on April 7, 2017, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics. given.
From 2017 to 2022, Elnura Bunyat gizi Mammadova worked as the head of the “Finance and Banking” department at the Azerbaijan Cooperation University. From 2022, he was elected to the position of the dean of the “Social work and translation” faculty of that university.
E.B. Mammadova, who has been studying in the Doctor of Economic Sciences program at the Azerbaijan Cooperation University since 2018, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation on “Formation of the investment environment and efficiency problems in Azerbaijan” in 2022, and was awarded the title of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 09, 2022. by decision, he was awarded the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences in the field of economic sciences.
In 2019, he was awarded the academic title of associate professor by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He is the author of more than 60 scientific works, including 21 subject programs for the bachelor’s degree, more than 40 subject programs for the master’s degree, 3 textbooks, 1 teaching aid. He spoke on current topics at a number of international and scientific conferences and his reports were published.

Independent Azerbaijan is in the rising stage of its political, economic, social and cultural development. As noted by President Ilham Aliyev, the independent and sovereign state of Azerbaijan is entering a qualitatively new strategic phase in the post-pandemic and post-conflict period, which covers the years 2021-2030. In order to be ready for increased competition in the world in the future, the priority is the formation of highly competitive human capital. is required. For this, it should achieve three basic goals: -education in accordance with the requirements of the XXI century; -creative and innovative society; -healthy lifestyle of citizens. Azerbaijan Cooperation University, which was founded in 1964, stands out among the higher educational institutions of the Republic that meet these main requirements. The reforms carried out in the university in recent decades are aimed at the high quality of education and the teaching of new specialties that meet the requirements of the labor market. There is also a faculty of social work and translation. The “Social Work and Translation” Faculty, distinguished by the high quality of work during its short period of establishment, includes the “Social Sciences”, “Translation”, and “Mathematics” departments. There are 36 teachers in these departments: 2 professors, 13 associate professors, 12 head teachers, 9 teachers work in the faculty. In this academic year, the annual teaching load of the faculty is 17,438 hours. Subject cabinets were also organized for the departments. Student Union Organization, Student Scientific Society and Student Youth Organization operate in the faculty. Departments and subject offices are equipped with the most modern computer equipment and connected to the Internet. The Translation center equipped with modern audio and video equipment is used by our students. Our students are the most active participants of intra-university and national level events as a result of the educational work conducted among young students at the faculty. Students studying at the faculty have regularly participated in International Student Scientific Conferences held at Caucasian and Slavic Universities and have taken various positions. Students majoring in mathematics participated in the international conference held in Baku with the participation of world scientists and met with outstanding scientists. Students studying at the faculty, in accordance with their curricula, have production and pre-diploma internships at ANAS, at the “Shams” translation center operating under the ASAN service, at the DOST agency, and in various foreign companies.
